The failover system is extremely flexible, allowing 1-1, 1-N and N-N configuration through the registration of multiple Failover Monitors.
Below is a second example where the Failover server is programmed to start recording 20 cameras from each main server.
In this case, 20 main cameras were imported from each server and then configured the 3 monitors for failover as shown in the image below:
In the example above, this Failover server will have 60 registered cameras (20 cameras being imported from each VMS server) and each Failover Monitor must be configured to activate the respective cameras on their servers when the failure occurs and deactivate them when the server comes back up, as described in the previous topic.
